1891 Oct. 29   A certificate of incorporation was filed by The Hunters Garden

                        Association of Suffolk County.  They purchased 2 acres on Great

                        Pond (Wildwood Lake) in Lot 6 of the Topping Purchase, Southampton

                        Town.  Robert W. Penny, Chairman, John Bagshaw, Secretary.  Annual

                        Dues were $1.50.  A constitution was drawn up.

                        Secretary, George Chauncey, Cook

1899 Sept. 28  The meeting was announced by the Brooklyn Eagle to be held at Great

                        Pond, near Riverhead, on Oct.5. George Chauncey Corwin will prepare

                        the chowder.

1900 May 25   Daniel Cook, President, Frank H. Hill Vice President, John Hagen, Sec.

1932 Jan. 29    The Hunters Garden Corporation was formed.  129 shares were issued

                        at a price of $100. per share.  The following directors held 3 shares each:

                        John Bagshaw, George Hill Moore, Elmer J. B. Sawyer, William Morrell,

                        Fred L. Griffing and Daniel R. Young.  Hudson V. Griffin received the

                        balance of the stock to repay him for building the clubhouse. 

1932 Mar. 2     The Hunters Garden Corp. was filed.

1932 Mar. 16   The Hunters Garden Association sold its 2 Acres of land to The Hunters

                        Garden Corporation for $8600.

                        Percy V. Ketcham was the last treasurer of the Association.

1939 Feb. 23   A petition was filed in Supreme Court to clear the title of this property

                        for Fred H. Koster of Huntington, N.Y.
